I've got a Mitsubishi rear projection tv,bought new around 1985. it's always worked fine until recently. the audio is noisy as all heck. you can hear the audio on all channels but the static is just awful. this only happens when the cable is the input, anything on an external input is fine, like my dvd player. almost seems like there's some sort of problem with the cable. trouble is, another tv on the same cable is working fine. also, I had the cable co. come out and they pronounced the cable to be in great shape, even stuck an amp on the cable to improve that other tv's reception.
it's a VS-458R by the way.
any ideas?
