well my cs 6000 had died been dead for about a week when i seen anothher thread some where where the cap 1000 uf was a problem , so i took mine apart and looked at the power boared and sure enough the cap had blown out from the bottom of it so i replaced it and wala all fixed my box before it messed up for you peps that migth have a dead one The box was all of a sudden restarting over and over till finally it never came back on flipping the back switch did not help so if this sounds like your problem beleave me do this and your all set |

Alton You need to replaced with a capacitor with same Mfd but take higher voltage. If this one blow thats because voltage is to tight. And be sure you put it on good polarity |

yeah it works buttttt lol now it wont keep a signal if i reboot it itll get signal for about 8 secs then poof gone thinking theres another cap bad cause my cw is hooked up to same cable wire now and got signal no prob and yes my settings are rigth |

Alton Normally you have to changed 2 Capacitors for the cheap cost replaced all Capacitors in Power Supply for new with higher voltage. Give you chance to have peace for longtime
