Hi my brother has a 50in samsung dlp model number HLS5086WX/XAA. The other day he had a bad storm come through and it fried his directv box and the box was connected to tv with coax cable. Well needless to say the tv got messed up too. He just gave the tv to me because directv sent him a check for the mishap. I want to try to see if this problem is repairable. When you plug the tv in the lamp and fans come on in the rear and the lamp light on front flashes green for about 10 seconds but no picture or sound. None of the buttons on the front work either. What could this be? |
