Hello, thanks in advance for the help. I am trying to hook up outdoor speakers to my viewsat ultra. Is this possible? I see that the ultra has audio out using the red and white cables. So do i use an amplifier to power the speakers? Anyone have a cheap amp that they use or have used? Also is there any danger in hurting the viewsat connecting it this way? |

You need an amplier, or a surround sound system. |

You can use this without any problem, many receiver are use for Music only and use TV for select channels only.
Connect it in White and Red RCAs of receiver and amplifier.
On Globecast Galaxie 25 97.0W with linear LNB you can get over 100 music channel totally free which you paid on Dn and Bev.
