Hope you folks can help.

I had the light engine replaced the first week i owned it but, that was 4 years and it's been great ever since.

ISSUE:
I am now experiencing picture "strobing" and color problems. the strobing is hard to describe -- it's like a brightness 100 to a brightness 90 and it's constantly flickering. the colors are "aliased" looking -- like it's having a hard imaging gradiations of a color and just giving me blocks of unsmoothed colors. there are no nosies or indicator lights associated with this issue.

WHAT I'VE DONE:
* changing inputs doesn't matter
* i replaced the lamp today (old one had 5000 hours on it) -- still the same problem
* i purchased a new color wheel -- but i am reluctant to install if it really isn't the issue.

please help!

just a follow-up:

i replaced the color wheel this morning -- problem still exists.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sounds like a bad dmd board. You might want to read the post in Samsung DLP Problems-Help on this forum
