hi , i am trying to copy vcr to vcr and it works fine but i have 2 questions

1) I dont want to record the advertisments which are present in the program i m recording , is there an easy way for not to record ads rather than watching entire playback and when ads comes, hit pause on recording vcr

2) Is there a way i can record using fastforward on playback vcr?
