I am also a victim of a broken Samsung DLP after just 1 year. We need to get the word out where it counts, at the store fronts. I have written several bad reviews at the following sites, amazon, bestbuy, circuitcity, and crutchfield.
If I can persuade others from not buying these lemons, I can at least get some satisfaction from that.

Need something to do while my TV is cooling down :-(
