I recently picked up a 50" plasma tv/monitor from my work that was used as a marketing display monitor. After 2 years of use it has some heavy Burnt in images on the screen. A buddy of mine thought there was some kind of "White out" dvd out there that helps get rid of burnt in images/words. Is anyone familiar with a product like this or anyone have advice on how to get rid of burnt in images?

Thanks, Mike

You can try just having snow from a dead channel on the screen. You may have to leave it there for a long time. If the TV won't go to snow on a blank channel, use a VCR.

You are talking about the reverso image where black is white and white is black. When you use these type of disks or features what you are doing is evening already existing phospor wear.

A white screen also allows a quick assessment for dead or stuck pixels as an FYI.

Anyway evening phosphor wear works as long as you have enough brightness left in the screen. U usually not a problem.
