uninstall it it in safe mode and search the net for a updated driver. Its obviously a driver issue. Beause when you boot in save mode only the basic drivers are loaded. |

Ok here are what im using.. I have a HP pavillion running windows vista home . the card im trying to install is a SYBA PCI Multi I/O Controller SD-PCI-2S... When i remove the card from the PCI slot and boot..the computer will boot normally... If I put the card back into the computer, it wont boot in regular mode, i get bluescreen.. but it will boot into safe mode.. In both cases, the card isnt showing up in device manager under com cards.. Now when i first put the card into the system and install the driver in the box, it seemed to be working, but it was assigned to com port 8 and 9 and my loader for CW only had selections for up to com 6... Should I remove the card, then boot the PC and remove the drivers... or should i just boot into safe mode and remove the driver?? Thanks for the help guys.. |

Remove the card and uninstall driver, reboot and install driver first, off comput and install card and boot. On XP and Vista : install driver first and card. If that not work do a search on site of card or forum on Yahoo or Google |
