Ive noticed thats cw releases arent coming as quick for the 600s anymore.. Im sure this is by far the most popular model.. but ive been told its been discontinued for sale..and support will be removed or be slow as hell, as the 650 has replaced the 600 on the line up..
Any idea truth to that??? makes sense a bit when all the other CW models are released for latest ECM but the 600.... |

One question, if the 650 is the same as the 600p ... why not use the 650 file to update ?? is it worth the risk, HMMM.
Basically it's the same STB with more features ... looked on the CW site.
Pretty much the same to me. I'll try it tonight... |

i was thinking that same thing.... it does look like the same box.. let me know if it works... i assume that there will always be support.. but it will take someone using a 650 bin..and recoding it to the 600... but im not sure.. |

Bruce, don't want to contradict or start up a feud.
The 600 and the 650 is the sane machine (specs compared) except the the 650 has 4mb flsh memory and 32mb sdram where the 600 has only half of that.
* default the 600 with the 650 then apply latest patch.
Should work,no ?

plymouth i think your right if cw dos not put out a bin for the cw600p then i to would not get a nother one and i would not tell athers to get one in fact i dont think its right that cw came out with files for the cw650 and the cw700&800 files but nothing for cw600 modles i think the cw company is trying to force us in to geting new boxes for fast suport but i for 1 will not get a cw and i think others should do the same if no bins come out for them |

maybe its like the vs plat and extreme, the file will load and u get channels, but in B&W.not everything works. |

so anyone get anyword why we were last on this last one... i know its a hobby.. and im thankful we got up at all.. but im just wondering why the 600p was literally the last cw released... even after the 600S |
