This just occurred to me, will I get a better picture if my TV is set to 720p instead of 1080i. I always thought 1080i was a higher resolution but if progressive scan is double the lines, then 720p is 1440, this make sence? |

You can't change the resolution of the TV. If you are talking about changing the source resolution, it should in most cases match the TV resolution. If you've got a CRT TV, the resolution is 1080i, if you've got a flat panel TV, (LCD, plasma) the resolution is 720p or 1080p. |
