You'd have to get a dish at least 4 feet in diameter and with a different LNB... Dish diameter depends on wavelength but also distance (azimut) to satellite and transponder signal strength as well. So the short answer is: No with dick and bev dish and LNB, you'd have to get a larger dish with appropriate LNB. Fortec dish combos in that size are about $150 or so. With that setup, your existing FTA should be able to pick C-band. So for the receiver the short answer is: yes, it will work. |

The size of Dish depends on your location and the satellite you want.
With this LNB you can pickup both. ........C/Ku Chart.................

Hey Hawk He is asking is it possible to use a be3v dish? Simple answer is no! The foot prints yo got all depends on geographical location as well as orbital location This is the link yo need: http://lyngsat-maps.com/america.html - Select orbital location: - Select desired C or Ku off that orbital location - Map will display Max and Min dish size - Yo take average for correct dish size - Keep in mind Min gets yo 50%, Max gets yo 100%, average dish size will be about 75% with clear sky view This is an example for Orbit. Loc. 103W http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/amc1_c.html I learned all from King-Tapeman God bless yo king for teaching me foot prints And fixing my yo yo |
