Modifying BL's BIN to make it a PUFF BIN does not require a lot effort. If you write a program which interactively automates the process, you can change the 4-5 relevant areas through software and come out with a ne BIN in 5 minutes.
That is the theory. In practice, we do not know how good he is at doing this automation. Time will tell
So, the verdict is - it is possible but we do not know if this particular file is good |

TronicsBin266_puff.bin
formerly convert266.bin
I have not tried the convert version although they are supposed to be identical.
Reports at ftatalk site are favourable.
I tested the tronics266_puff.bin and it works extremely well.
I used channel master for saving and restoring channels. The volume comes preset to 0 so change that also the date ad time. The autoroll worked - I did not notice it rolling. |
