I am in DIRE need of a *high-speed* dubbing/copying standalone DVD Recorder/VCR to quickly put a MASSIVE amount of VHS tapes onto DVDs, now, does a system like this actually exist or not? Been asking for a L-O-N-G time now.... And, if such does NOT exist, what would I need to do to 'soup up' my desktop computer so that I can hook up my TV *to* my computer and do it that way, would have preferred the former way, much easier to do, alas, I am DESPERATE now Thanks!!!! |

No matter what you use, recording has to be done in real time. If you want to edit the tapes, get a HDD recorder, if not, a non HDD recorder will work. |

If your tape have copy protection Macrovision encoded on it, this method won't work. If it is a tpape you recorded yourself then this won't be a problem. |
