I am desparately trying to transfer a recording from my Canon ZR60 onto a VHS tape for a major project that has to be mailed by Wed. 4-30. Nothing will record!

You need to use the a/v cable (red/white/yellow) that came with your camcorder and connect that between your camcorder and a VCR.

Then you need to select the channel that the VCR is to record from. Depending on your VCR it is something like Line1 or Line2.
