Okay, it is not the lamp as I now have two good ones. Tell me about the ballast, and where I should get one?

The lamp will begin to light up, maybe 1-2 seconds, then the set shuts down with the "lamp" indicator blinking in front.

Does that sound like a bad ballast, or something else, since it lights momentarily?
