hello everyoneee
i really need ur helppp
i have a pansat 2700A
and when i turn it on all i see is lines dancing back and forthh
what factory bin do i need to use to clear it all out
please help i been havin this problem for long time i searched the net for factory or fix i got nothing...
anyone have any ideas or step i need to do to fix my pansat 2700A

I just purchased a VS Ultra, to replace my CS4000. I need your help to get started.
1. To load bin I use loader 2.1
2. Do I have to use the software for a virgin unit first ?
3. There are bins 131 & 132. What are they ?
4. Then there is the last bin 080327.
5. How do I change keys manually. In the CS I pressed 8282. How is it done in VS |

Valinex i'm not Nalin but i can help you on Viewsat my speciality.
1)no need to use loader because you have a USB port( if the stb is dead only you need loader)
2) no you dont need it
3)these 2 bin are factory bin no need it now
4)Go to ftahq this bin is good now and download and unzip it and load on USB key, put your USB key in front of stb
with remote go to Menu
System information
receiver upgrade and select USB choose the pgrm pres OK
Now wait the receiver come to " on"
After you need to setup your sat in menu and do a autoscan and save.
5)"change keys" press menu
user settings
code menu
in CAS with left arrow select Nagra and choose the good provider you went.
No need to change keys the autoroll work fine thats take + - 5 minutes to autoroll

Nalin, can you help me. I have a ViewSat Ultra and have been trying to do a blind scan, but after going through all the channels selection, it wont finish. It does not open the DO YOU WANT TO SAVE CHANGES window and goes back to the initial starting point when it finishes. What should I do?

When you do a blind scan and it return without ask to save it, thats because blind scan dont found new channel.
Why you went to do a blind scan? |

PLYMOUTH... the 170 BIN i have it on my receiver.... i thought there is a new one out... because my receiver saying SCRAMBLE CHANNEL since Friday 29 March....
so if the bin is the same 170 as 10 march... so wats the problem then???.... why scramble channel......

I got my viewsat ultra, loaded the new bin, scanned. Then it froze. I tried a hard boot (switch off at back), then turned it on again, and it either did not turn on, or if did it showed AA:AA (really it was 88:88, defective , the line at the bottom does not show).
Is my new unit gone ? |

Valinex now you need the loader:
In your package box with receiver is furnish a cable RS-232 you must download factory bin with the cable from your computer .
Go to: <http://viewsatusa.com/support.htm>
download this 2 files:
PVR Loader v11 - Firmware Updater ( Serial)you install this one on computer
VS2000 ULTRA Factory Bin File - V132
for download with the loader in your receiver
close rear switch on receiver
open program take file v131
clic to download in receiver and a second after
switch on
the transfert take 5-10 mins
you must see 0000
download the last bin with USB

Plymouth, I have downloaded the loader, V132 & V131.
When I turn my stb on there is no light whatsoever in front. Only the small red light at the back.
I tried with the loader, first with V132, FROM PC TO STB, I had the stb OFF from the rear, then turned it on a second after the download. It kept showing "Resending ZRQINIT.." then showing "Frame type 255 60 Id 0c81", then going back to "Resending ZRQINIT" and so on. Is this O.K. with no end ? |

No it's not normal, i think your new box is corrupt.
Try to synchronized the operation
when you turn on receiver and send loading.
That can make many try.
If the back light is on, youre box is good. |

Plymouth, thanks for your help. We have a proveb that says "give the bread to the baker, even if he eats half of it".I am giving my receiver to a technician to fix it. It is a brand new one. I just hope it is not a clone. |
