I want to know how to hook up with Direct TV DVR, Sony DVD player model DVP-NS500V,Panasonic DVD/VCR Combo recorder model DMR-ES40V,Sima GoDVD and a Phillips Multi Media input A/V switcher. I bought the switcher because my Toshiba TV is older and only has 2 A/V inputs. The problem I am having is When I play the DVD in the Sony Player it is showing on the TV but the recorder records what is on TV and not visual on the TV.When I try it with a VCR it records what is on the screen. This is a copyright DVD and the GODVD bypasses with the VCR so I know that isn't the problem. How can I get the recorder tom record what is on the screen not TV. Any help with hookup would be appreciated.
