I hooked up a used 3100HD cable box to my Brighthouse cable. Box automatically downloaded all kind of files but now only displays ---- when I switch it on. TV turns black. I managed to go into the extensive info menue of the 3100HD but don't know how to reset or trouble shoot. Any knowledge available? |

Setup can vary from one service company to another
On mine Cablevision I use Guide/Menu from box while turning power from OFF to ON
Try that
If doesn't work check user manual or call tech service usually it's free of charge |
