Lately my TV has come on and then at random times the picture will go away, but the sound will still work. The picture comes back after a brief period of time. I took the TV apart and inspected the color wheel and bulb. Both looked ok. The color wheel was replaced in August 2007. This is the only item replaced from the original equipment.
Sometimes I power on the TV, I see the bulb come on, but no picture. I usually have to unplug the power while it's trying to come on. I then plug the power back in and it works. However, I still get the issue described above with the picture going away while watching a show.
The TV is out of warranty, purchased in Nov 2005, and any suggestions would greatly be appreciated to what might be wrong.
