I own a Magnavox MSD805 DVD/CD player with video cassette recorder. It worked fine the first two years. Lately, it has developed this problem: When I turn it on, it stays on for about 30-45 seconds, then shuts itself off. This happens in both DVD and VHS formats. It happens when the television is on and when the television is off. It happens when I use the remote and when I use the manual controls. I checked the power cord and it's OK. I checked all the cables and they seem to be OK, too. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how (and if) I can fix it?
