I installed Dish 500 and now i am getting 110,119 and 118.7.
110 is on port 3
119 is on port 1
118.7 is on port 2
For 118.7, i selected ECHO 61.5 and scanned the channels. I got almost every indian channel except Zee TV, Star Plus and Star One.
Can someone help me to get these extra channels? |

Anik F3 is at 118.8 Echostar3 is at 61.5. Go back to settings and confirm sat selected is sat received by looking for the sat name being displayed whenever a good quality signal is achieved. |

There have been at least 8 threads in this forum in the last 6 weeks. You should look them up.
These are some facts.
1. Anik3 signals are weaker than Echo 7.
2. You need 30-33" Dish. some 20" Dishes will get some channels depending upon location.
3. Universal LNB is best for getting both 119 and 118.7
4. There are special Universal LNBs available for this very reason.
5. There are precise settings for 118.7W on these LNBs. LNB Freq 10750 or even lower than 10000. First TP 11715V.
6. The output of these LNBs is together on one output and there is a second output for a second receiver.
7. There is DN installed conversion kit available for about $100.
Suggest you read those threads, check with your installation and see waht you can do to get what you want. |
