Have a View Sat Plat and works fine Friend ask if i can get his View Sat Extreme working , so i go go and put in a bin and no luck?
What did i do wrong?
Did get channel guide with no info ...

Leaf your problem probably resolve with it:
try it:
All viewsat box
Go to Code menu
Select Nagra and on Dish 01 06 00 Dish 00 01 00 dish 01 01 00
Delete this 3 provider one by one with F3 on remote
no need to delete keys
switch off 10 secs on back panel
and load last bin for your box
turn autoroll on
Keep on
Bin and autoroll regenerete keys
Resolve problem with lost channel , autoroll and search signal
Thats erase bad data in the box
For box who lost channel and sat setup
ENJOY TV
TESTED and work fine
New issue for problem on Viewsat
Thanks
Do a blind scan on your sat after for recover all channel
Because some new freq are provide
Dont do a factory reset and factory bin
No need it

go ahead and try Plymoth advice..you have nothing to lose..
BTW there some peoples say they picked up more channels than B4 after they follow Plymoth advice. |

Plymouth thanks once again for all your help
Did what you told me to do from above post, still no luck.
Maybe when I did blind scan was not on correct setting, I have it on Echo 8,10 if antenna is issue could you tell me how i should have it set up ?
Should I set the antenna up the way my viewsat platium is set up or something diffrent or I am totally wrong on everything and maybe I did something wrong??

You need to do blind scan, because new freq is insert by provider.
Go to menu
installlation
and blind scan.
The sat setup is
satellite Echostar 110W
LNB Power on
LNB type Standart
LNB Freq 11250
22 Khz off
Diseqc 1.0 none
Motor none
Legacy SW none |

before you do either auto or blind scan, if you don't have any signals/quality on any of the tps, you probably have to check your antenna position first.
check dishpointer.com for correct place, if antenna is in the right place, and not getting too much of the channels, maybe need to fine tune the antenna.
your xtreme and plat should ok to use the same settings.

you need to slow down,i think this guy is complaining about channel guide only,
cab you ask him and clarify before recommending anything else,
also the settings you posted may not work for him,he may have a different lnb type,so ask for his set up first |

If you do not have channel guide, it means your antena settings are incorrect. correct them you will get channel guide. |

Hi everybody !!
I have a Viewsat Uutra VS 2000, and I got the files for the keys on a usb key. I tried to download this program on my sat but it didn't work. I think i did what i have to do but there a step that I did wrong. These are the steps : I went on MENU, System information, Receiver upgrade, USB, and after I clik on each file and I did F4. I closed the receiver and put it on but nothing works. I got the message like Autoroll processing but nothings appears. Can someone help me on that ! I never did that before that's why

You must unzip before.
If it not work. You must do that :

salut ! écoute le fichier dans ma clef est composer de 4 sous fichier qui ont pour nom des genres de numero de cléf. Comme je le disais j'ai insérer ma cléf USB et fait menu ensuite systeme d'information , USB, et lorsque je clik sur le fichier comprenant les 4 autre fichier, ensuite je clik sur chacun des 4 fichiers, un a la suite del'autre et un message apparait apres chaque clik. Le message est READ File. ensuite il ne reboot pas tout seul. et mon autoroll est a ON j'ai vérifié. Si tu pouvais m'aider ca serait coooolll

OK mais cé pas la bonne facon. Met directement la bin décompressé sur la clé et fait OK, la ca va marché.
J' ai fait un test comme tu le fait et ca fait rien aussi. |
