I've had this PT50LC14 LCD Projection TV for 4 years. No problems except for having to change the bulb about 6 months ago. Now more and more, there is a yellow tint appearing across about 60-70% of the screen. I called a local TV repair shop and they said they never heard of of such a thing? Could it be caused by the bulb? It's 4 years old, and the idea of paying someone to start swapping out parts to try to find the problem is troubling. Any ideas are appreicated. Thanks!
I also have several yellow blobs on my TV (PT-50LC14). It is due to a burnt polarizer filter just past the blue filter for the blue chip. This TV is a three chip design with red, blue and green chips. I am currently trying to get a new polarizer filter from Panasonic.
