Hi Everyone.

I have to satellites and cannot get channels from both on my CW800 PVR. I am using a Diseq (i think i got the spelling right) where i can get all three lnb hooked into the cable box entering the house. however, i can get channels from one dish or the other.. and channels of the other tell me that the signal is weak... do you have any advice on this issue?

Thanks a lot

your antenna settings may be wrong,
go to menu>satellite and you will see settings there
post settings for all three sats so we can help
you will see things like
lnb type
frequency
switch
etc etc

Hi Again...
after writing the settings, i found that i had diseq set as none... i set it to auto and it worked...

so here is another question: dishes 119W and 110W, do they have the same channels? cause they sure looked like they did when i scanned the channels of both...

is there any reason that i should have both connected?

also... should i have the diseq setting as auto or put the actual lnb number? would it make the transition from one echo 3 to echo 7 faster, and vice versa?

Moly,
adjust 22khz to off on both and diseq
for 119 adjust to 119 and for 110 2
and for 61.5 set switch to 3
and scan again.

110 and 119 have different channels, check lyngsat for more channels line up.

make your you do lock on the sat, so you know it is the right sat you want.

good luck.

I would believe cs has the same feature like the vs, with the locked sat showed in the set up menu screen.

lyngsat dot com is a site you can get infos on tps freq and channels line up.

you may want to have 110/119 on one dish and 61 on the other by itself.

check dishpointer.com for correct position and fine tune with sat finder or bring tv/box to the antenna for easier tunning.

good luck.
