I have a Samsung HL-4667W TV less than three yrs. old. The projection lamp that came with the tv, a BP-0096823A, has been discontinued and I was told to order a BP-9601403A as the replacement. Received the lamp and it slides into place perfectly; however, it does not come through the back of the casing; therefore, preventing me from screwing the lamp casing in. I am frustrated because I have made 8 calls this morning and I can't seem to get an answer to solve the problem. I do not feel I should have to pay for a service call if this issue is not something caused by me.
Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions as to how I this can be fixed?
