Quick question. I have a panasonic plasma with HDMI, a cable box with HDMI and an older receiver with 3 digital optical and one digital coax in other words no HDMI.

Can I utilize the HDMI or not? If i can how?

I did search on this and was unable to find anything...

Connect the HDMI from the box to the plasma and connect the digital audio output of the box to the receiver. You may need to set the audio output on the box to bitstream.
