please help, when i try to turn the tv on all that happens is the red light on the front comes on... it does absolutely nothing else.
it is becoming a very big ornament. |

Sounds like a lamp issue. Please explain how this problem occured.. Was the tv off and one day it wouldn't turn on again? Was the TV working and all of a sudden turn off? Did it make any noises? Does it make a "click" noise when you press the power button?
Those are some questions to start the diagnosis. Let us know. |

hello there,
when i next tried to switch the tv on nothing happened, just the red led on
the front. it was fine when it was last turned off. no noise or anything
jsut a red light. however i do have a sony kf-50sx300u and when i try to
turn that on sometimes it does make a buzzing noise but after a few attempts
it always comes on and works perfectly. it has been doing it for about 6
months.
