I did everything I was supposed to do and things were unfrozen, added new bin, but nothing happened. Channels were at quality 0. So, I did a factory reset and have tried to download channels, but am getting nothing. I wrote a thread before, and people ended up swearing and cursing at each other. Please only those who really want to help me answer. thank you |

Lisa whenever you press the factory reset you have to go back to menu..installation..antenna setup and reconfigure your SAT setting again like the one B4 you have or you will not get any signals or quality at all..and i hope you remember your old setting..LOL. |

Using your remote hit menu then hit ok on antenna setup scroll to one of the two sats your pointed at. Now if you have 2 sats then you have a switch and lnb type. If you know the type your using great or scoll the different options looking for the one that gives the best quality. Once you have q the name of the sat appears make sure it matches the one whos settings your changing otherwise change the diseq or legacy choices. |

like on the top line you see Echostar 3 61.5 if you have more than one satellite change that until you see the correct satellite and post settings. also slowly change tp freq on 61.5 and see if any one of them makes good quality.if it does then save that |

I loaded a factory bin and latest bin, I already did those. I tried to put in 12224, but couldn't find that TP frequency. No other TP frequencies showed me any quality. As for the satellites, I only have echo star 3 and echo star 8.10, which I put on diseq port 2. |

TP 12224 comes on the echostar 8.10. So echo star 3 is on Diseq port 1 echo star 8.10 is on Diseq port 2 Nothing is happening whatsoever. |

Lisa, you don't need to panic, because as long as your receiver is powering up there is a cure for it. i don't know where you are but it is dark on the east coast here. what i need next is a direct connection from any one satellite to receiver,by passing the switch,so we are trying to eliminating bad switch |
