Ok guys i can confirm STAR INDIA PLUS on Echo 3 61.5, on co*lsat, viewsat annd sonicview
to get it, you got to manually add the information
The info you got to edit is the TP Video, Audio and Pid numbers
For Viewsats you go to Menu, Channel scan, not go to Tp 12443, and then at the bottom select the color that says "ADD USER CHANNEL", when you do that a box appears, where you can enter the info below. Then do the TP scan and the channel will be named "USER CHANNEL"
you can do the same for any reciever, all you need to do is edit the TP info, and this can be done in any boxes
heres the info you need to enter

Ok I have never used 61.5 for any of my channels.
I'm getting all South Asian Channels and all American/PPV and everything.
So how do I get adjust my 61.5 angle.

Probably DTV had an exclusive contract with Star Plus and this contract might be expiring or just expired. There will not be any stopping DN offering it. |

I have to viewsat ultras at home. One is for 119,110 and 61.5 that is getting star plus. The other one is hooked up for just 61.5. The channel 605 is greek, and the channel called user channel is just black and says no signal, any ideas??? |

Damindar (Nfusion)The problem is The frequency is not programmated in your receiver if you scan and the box not scan this freq just to bad. You must succeed to scan this freq.

dude it might work on a diffenet tp for you
for me it was 11940 H which i belive is either the fifth or the sixth tp from the beginning for me any way just try in the starting tp for H polarity it might work for you. |

lionking try to find the tp for the following channel WLNE, WPRI, WJAR, WNAC , WLWC, WSBE,
the tp should be the same for all of these
now on thses tp write video PID and all that then scan
it should work
or else keep trying on diff tp. |

i have captive works i do advance scan and enter the value of video, audio and PCR but after i press OK than my box hangs up..and than i have to swich off from back and starts again.. i did it five times but no results.. can any one help me to get star plus on captive works 600s premium. |

It is in plain and simple English.
YOU CAN CREATE ANY TP NUMBER UNDER ANY SAT BY GOING INTO MENU/DISH SETUP/EDIT TP/SATELLITE. |

jignesh: All the receivers except CW have Star Plus. I specifically asked Bruce 1, a CW guru to help and so far he has not come up with the answer. This is the thread – watch the thread if he does find it

nalin can u tell me how did u figure this out i mean how come there's a channel like this
also i found 2 other channels by doing the same thing except that i dunno wht language they are in also there's a specific patten in Video PID and the other PID that's how i found the other 2 channels but have no idea wht's going
any clues?????????????????????? |

Down arrow to Video. Change Auto to 5666
Down arrow to Audio. Change Auto to 5667
Down arrow to PCR PID. Change Auto to 5666

STAR PLUS WORKS ON NFUSION
Here's Hows to add STARPLUS On you Nfusion (Only Satellite 61.5)
1. Go to Installation
2. Go to Channels Scan.
3. Go to Add TP (last option)
4. Choose as below
Frequency: 12443
Polarization: Auto
Symbol Rate: 20000
5. Then go to Add channel. (choose as below)
Channel Name: Star Plus (or any, doesnt matter)
Video PID: 5666
Audio PID: 5667
PCR PID : 5666
6. Press Manu Two Times and it will same channel on memory.
7. Press Guide and choose channel No. 605
8. DONE!
you will see guide in other language, but you will see its "STAR PLUS" |

i see that people have been getting it on frequencies in the proximity of 12443......
how do they do that??
If I run a blind scan....technically it shud list out all the possible TPs right.....
and all the possible channels????
I did that and didn't see CH_A or channel 0000 or 605....
I am pretty sure I have 61.5...once again FLU to 2700.. |

Nalin I have a question for you right now I am using echo4 and echo7 and I'm getting all the channels that I need, now if I scan this star plus that everyone is talking about do I lose all my current channels and what is the benefit of star plus I've been in the fta game for almost 5 years Istarted with a pansat 2500a which I still have I converted it to a 2700 and I also have 2700a originals and 3500sd and the support for pansat rceivers have always been there and I thank blacklist for all of his support. |

If you do a TP scan directly or through advanced scan, you don't lose anything, and if you follow the instructions properly you will ADD Star Plus. |

the clue i got was to look for the frequency of the 7777 series W channels....and then use that frequency instead of 12443 |

for star plus ,when i do scan echo 3 i get all the channals with good signal(in the auto scan).but when i save and exit, my vs ulra keeps on running on 1,2 echo 148.i did it several times but same thing happen.
