Thread: Samsung HL-P6163W, 3 Blinking Lights issue |

Today we installed a new color wheel on our samsung tv, it was missing a mirror and was just old and used up. After we got the new color wheel installed we covered everything back up and tried starting the TV, we heard it turn on but the "Lamp" light started blinking which eventually turned into the "3 Blinking Light" problem. We reset the blue switch near the door to see if it would start up, and no luck. So then we tried unplugging it and waiting a few minutes until we plugged it back in and tried again with still no luck.
We can't think of what the issue could be because our lamp light was replaced not even a year ago, and we haven't been able to use the TV due to the color wheel being broken. THe lamp doesn't look faulty or broken, we just aren't sure because we dont want to have to replace a $200 lamp. Thanks for the help. |

Have you tried checking your ballast?
If there is something wrong with the ballast, the bulb may not be getting any power. |
