That main page screen at Future changed many times tonite...in the first 15 minutes of file releases there, I saw it change 3 times...saying different things and dates..
Even when the 2700-2800-3500 and 250SM fixes were posted there it stated DN down/Bev up which was UNTRUE, cause I tested them all, and they were all working then for DN as well as Bev..
ALL fixes there NOW are FOR Dishnet and Bev...and are NOW dated today Jan 26...and all are working presently
Why must U all argue and bash each other here?...like children..
BTW...contrary to some troublemakers here...I do own many FTA receivers and do test them all... |

Thank you LK, I agree, Nalin is the root caus eof all of this arguing. When someone posts that a fix has been released she was in denial and bashed dantetn and I for verifying that indeed the latest file worked. then when the site was corrected she posts what everyone already knew. |

Nalin...U really should TEST and don't believe everything U read!...check things out for yourself before U read something and take it as gospel, then go bash somebody and make a fool out of yourself again..and I don't mean that maliciously...
BTW...the ONLY reason I posted here was to inform the people that all the files at Future are, and have been, GOOD for DISHNET (as dante stated) as well as BEV.. |

just need some help, never happened b4 
For some reason my KOOLSAT 5000 is FROZEN, it doesnt change channel, cant power it off or on (from remote and receiver itself)??
So, obviously i tried unplugging power cord, plugged it back in, then it starts up as if a channel is loading, but it freezes and stays black, as if right before comes up....what gives???
it just happened byitself, out of the blue...shud i wait a few days or somethin?? |

exactly, and you will trust someone like AV in obtaining files from his site? I am not trying to bash AV, but he creates a site providing information and files on FTA and does not have the knowledge or resources to test. Hey I don't know everything either, but, if you look at when I registered and compare my post, you can see that I have read and read and read before I began posting. |

You can bash and insult me, if you want. A lot of people know how much FTA knowledge I have and how much coding skills I have. Few years back, when I was a newbie, I listened to LK and Nalin and by listening to them and using my own knowledge, I became an advanced FTA member, FTA tester, a newbie FTA coder. I am a friend with few FTA coders and I call Nalin, The One, and LK my good friends/peers. I did mistakes when I was a newbie and did some abusing, too, but now I HELP here. They correct me when I am wrong, you can see some posts. I am not spamming or abusing, I am trying to help. And you know, who these people will believe. So, I am not gonna start any fight here.  |

Hey Nalin can u help me with a problem i'm having with my extreme? I downloaded and installed the latest file and it was working fine for the whole day but an hour ago it says searching channel. I'm getting th S but there is no Q. When i go into the antenna setup and change the tp frequency the Q does not stay steady. It keeps on jumping from 0 to 85 and back.
Anyone know what to do? You think its a problem with my switch? Or maybe show on the dish?

A: The tp frequency change will or may cause the needle to jump up and down. That is of no great significance. The first TP frequency should be proper.
I don't know if the extreme has a Blind scan. If there is one, do a blind scan. |

Laura Dawson: I am looking but can't find the CS_244 if it is out.
In the meantime, use the jvvh_244 BIN for DN.
As you know, there is new ECM by BEV, so if you scan BEV you may need to use an older BIN. |

LK : I don't think you are recovered yet.
I would be stupid to test both BEV and DN when the author of the BIN says it is good only for BEV. I test for BEV and report.
Next, you and I and everybody else, do NOT test all the BINs when 8 BINs are announced. We bring them to the notice of everybody.
I think you were doing well in the Psychiatric facility and you should stay there till you are recovered enough to view data objectively and without emotion attached to it.
You have to get out of the thing about "I like him, so I will support him" and learn to sieve the data and recognise the truth. |

The author did NOT say that at all, in fact it was just old "text" on the welcome page that hadn't been updated, which u would have known had U tested or read more...I honestly don't believe U own any FTA receiver and U are deinitely NOT a TESTER of anything except your own stupidity...
In fact, had U went into the forums and READ more , it was posted by the admin there that the BIN was GOOD for BOTH DN and Bev...at the same time the welcome page text was incorrect, and not updated by a staff member at Future..
Just admit U don't test...and do NOT read and research at all...U just copy/paste and believe eveything U see at any DSS site...and are a wannabee leader here, with NO social or FTA skills ..don't start with me....I told U earlier I had no malicious intent, but U obviously have a need to start and bash me in your previous post ...sorry girl, but U are just 100% wrong about ALL of this...as usual...SNAFU

DUH!! I am not the smartest person in the world, but I saw it... tested it... THEN reported it. This is the order in which someone with a little sense does things. Even after I reported it, Nalin comes and says it doesnt work for DN because it says so. LMAO. Sometimes u have to use ur brain and not take everything u read to be certain. Nalin, I have been reading your posts, and just to let you know how much I appreciate your inputs, as a vet with TBI, it is often hard for me to understand all information to get my FLU working, but I ma trying, I find you very nice, and Patient with all.
