When i first got my Pansat 2700A I had to change the switch I use in the attic ...

I heard with these new bins I can use my orig. switch that came with my dishnet service and it will work with both satellites on the pansat?

If this is the case when FTA is down like it is now I can take the SAT cable and plug it into my old reciever and it would work with both satellites?

Is this correct? Or would I still have to change the switch every time I went from Pansat to the orig. box?

what kind of the switch?

I have dp34 with 2 vs, there were posts about the vs are able to power up the switch, but in my case, it did not, not even with 2 vs, so I have to get a d pro adapter to give more juice to the switch.

if you are talking about those 4X1 diseq, and you have only one box, I think you should be ok, but if you have more than one, than you will need to put the switch back.
