Hello and thanks in advance. This is my first post, I hope I am not asking a stupid question...

I am interested in purchasing an LCD TV and I was think about the following:

LG 42" 1080p Widescreen LCD HDTV** (42LB5D)

I read some reviews and I found this:

Cons
Set gets warm, no HDMI pass-through, remote not backlit.

What is a HDMI pass-through?

Also, I want to use a headset (so that I do not bother anyone if I want to) and I see no jacks (most of these TV sets don't seem to have one).

What are my alternatives?

Your link works, but I still don't see anything about this TV's "pass-through" HDMIs. Pass-through, as the name implies, means that the signal passes through a device unaltered. Since the display is the final destination, there's no need for the HDMI signal to pass through to something else.

You could use an inexpensive receiver to power headphones. The TV's stereo line outputs would feed into that.

Look up the Insignia NS-R2000 on Best Buy's site.

Oh OK,

I did see it on a review website (epinions I believe) so it's not a big deal.

I can buy the product.

Thanks a bunch!!!
