I have a 50" Samsung DLP tv. My 2 year old tried to clean the screen with Windex (while I was in another room) and now there is a dark haze in the bottom portion of the screen. Does anyone know anything about these screens? I tried to clean the outside, no luck and then I tried to clean the screen from the inside, no luck. It appears that there may be 2 layers of screens because the liquid appears trapped inside. Any advice would be helpful. thanks.

Generally speaking, you are only supposed to use a water-dampened microfiber cloth to clean these screens as they are plastic. The solvents in most window cleaners damage the plastic. In your case it sounds like you've either damaged the plastic or some of the Windex wicked up between the layers.

I strongly suggest that you use a dampened microfiber cloth in the future.
