I have Verizon FiOS service. At present have 3 TVs with 3 boxes. Am not interested in PPV or any of the bells & whistels that come with the box. Question: Will a newly installed HDTV receive HD signal without the box? Will I be able to use the Verizon channels to view programs.

Am planing to buy a LCD HDTV. The seller recommends purchasing an additional bundle consisting of 2 HDMI cables, 2 audio cables, 3 component cables and a cleaning kit. All for $90.00. Is this a necessary purchase for simply viewing HD and SD channels? Thanks.

In reference to the above. Thanks for the info. I guess my real question should have been--Is that bundle necessary to hook-up the new TV, or is it used for accessories? Since this will be a wall mounted installation, can I simply connect to the existing Verizon cable?

Verizon is responsible to get yo up and runing for new installation (1-TV)only this means providing yo all cables required for the service for up to 1-TV bu simply ask verizon

For your seller $90 is a lot
Compare prices at e-bay and maybe make your choice

Do yo need the wires?
Yes won't work without

It is my understanding, in order to receive an HD signal on a new HDTV, you must have an HD set top box. If this is true, is one obligated to rent a box from the cable company, or can it be purchased from an independent supplier (bearing in mind I'm not interested in PPV) to save the monthly rental fee?
