Model # HL-R4667WAX/XAA

Hi there. My TV has been wonderful for me. However, the bulb recently blew. I received a bulb (product # BP9601403A) from my warranty issuer and installed it. The housing on this replacement lamp is different than the bulb that came with the TV (product # BP9600823A).

I installed the bulb, according to Samsung's directions. Everything seems to fit fine, except the screw in the new housing wouldn't screw into the bulb frame in the tv. Other than that, everything else fit snugly.

Heres where trouble began. When I turned on the TV after inserting the new bulb, it wouldn't switch on. I heard a faint buzzing noise in the back and took a look. I noticed a spark under the bulb, that would last approximately 4-5 seconds. The TV would repeat this cycle twice and then power down.

I don't know what to do. Try to get another replacement bulb that is a different model number, or take it to a tech specialist? I've never had any problems with this TV before. I've tried taking the bulb out and putting it back in 3 times to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.
