We've had Tivo for years. We are having Verizon FiOs installed in a few weeks. I was told there are issues with the HD Tivo not functioning properly with FiOs so we are considering using the Verizon HD DVR. How is the Verizon HD DVR? Any details would be appreciated. I'm sure it's not aws user-friendly as Tivo but does it get the job done? How does it rank?

Hi, Michelle,

I can only relate the experience a friend is currently having here in Massachusetts. The DVR recording from his main location works fine. However, although he was told he could watch the recording from any of his televisions throughout the house, he is now being told that requires a firmware upgrade to the DVR that is not yet available.
