Hey all,

I'm new to the forum and have a bit of a problem.

I've got a Sanyo VCR which I was hoping to hook up to a DVD recorder to digitise some old videos. When I plugged it in today the unit display showed there to be a tape in however there wasn't. When I insert a VCR it starts to move the feeder towards the letterbox area then doesn't get fully there. It keeps thinking there's a VCR already in the unit. It seems to be a technical problem, have any of you experienced it or know how to fix it?

Thanks,

Chris

How old is the VCR? Is this a new problem?
