Hi, i have a Philips 32PW9617 Matchline TV...i want to buy an S-Video wire so i can watch things from my laptop on my TV..my laptop does have a thing where u stick in the S-Video wire...so does my TV..it has a similar thing..but im not sure if its for S-Video.

Can anyone tell me if the thing on the back of my TV is for connecting it to my laptop?

The S-video on your laptop is 99.999% video OUT only.

Check your PC manual to make sure.
