I bought the Samsung HLT5075s in November. I love this tv by the way. On Monday my wife told me there was a flickering on the screen. Thinking I had a lamp going out, I called Samsung. The rep asked me to get the serial number off the back of the TV. It was then I noticed the fan behind the lamp was not running at full speed. I asked her if this could show up as a flicker. She said it sure could. It kind of makes sense because the flicker is only on the left side of the screen and the fan in question is on that side of the tv. At any rate they are coming out to check on it Wednesday. Has anyone else ever seen this problem?
