M.Shah: The latest BIN in the series is jvvh_234, which is essentially a GC fix. http://www.ftatalk.com/showthread.php?p=550292#post550292 http://public.box.net/2500_full_kit This will NOT give more than the basic DN channels but should be OK if you are getting GC channels. |

Bin 232 was everything - now gone Bin 233 was BEV fix - now gone BIN 234 is a GC fix on top of practically nothing except basic channels. If you are scanning globecast it is worth a million, otherwise it does not mean a thing. |

Nalin Nyda for thouse having various bin problems they should return to BIN 294t and see what FTA channels they can get in their own area. keys are easy to load. this will work until a better BIN shows up. |

I need some help. I know it does not belong in this thread but I wasn't sure where to put it. I have a sonicview 1000. And it seems my remote got thrown out in the garbage over Christmas. I was told about a remote you can get at the future shop and you program it yourself. Will this work and if so does anyone know how I program it, and will I be able to use it to change codes if needed? All the info I can get helps. Thanks in advance. |

I am having problems with my Sonicview 4000. I downloaded SV4000_V0186P into my receiver and all I now get is static and one line in the middle of the receiver. It will not boot up and appears dead. What can I do? I also have an older Pansat 2500 and want to know how to update it. Any help will be appreciated. Jay |

I have viewsat extreme 2000. Latest bin loaded into this unit is = DBPSW-071222X.PGM Under key code options you have way too many options as to where to enter your keys. I am bit confused can anyone please help out. There are basically two lines on the top. Top line says = CAS 1. To the right of CAS you have options to change it to viaccess 2. Nagara 3. Seca 4. Irdetobetacrypt Bottom line has different Options as well. That include. 1. CanalproTV 2. MediaTech 3. Rai13 E 4. Globecast 5. 2 or 3 headings with Dish 6. 3 headings with BEv Keycode options under dish : 1 has 5 lines 1 has 4 lines (08 09 88 89) I entered keys into the line that says CAS = Nagra Dish = 00 01 00 Keycode: I enterted keys that say 86 into line 08 and keys that say 96 into line 09 so: 08: 26 9F 38 F9 19 05 FC FA 5B 67 56 33 C1 19 AB FF 09: D2 93 21 BC 7F DF 23 01 62 D3 CA 81 03 15 E9 27 Still I am not able to get any channels it says no audio no video. Can anyone please answer couple of simple questions. 1st If I have the right bin and 2nd if I have got the combination of CAS/Dish and keycodes right third what lines should I be entering the keys in and 01 00 or 86 96 how do the translate into the lines on viewsat i.e, is 01 equal to 08 or 88? Or 86 is = 88 or 89? and finally what is the reason for all these different key options available i.e, globlecaset bev etc? Thank you. |

TOTALFTA SITE PROBABLY HIGHJACKED. http://d3.b8.344a.static.theplanet.com and http://74.52.184.211/forums/index.php are the same original total site, but http://www.totalfta*com leads to a false site probably owned by the highjackrs. That is what the staff at totalfta are trying to tell us. I checked and there is a thread inside the site which confirms the highjacking. Quick recap: the only new bins out are temporary fixes for CaptiveWorks receivers. The load time for channels is slow, but at least they're up. Viewsats, Pansats, Sonicviews and others are currently down. It's unlikely any new bins will be released before January 2nd. Be patient and enjoy the holiday, Jerry. |
