Hi guys..I am having problem scanning channels 584 (Sahara Samay), 585 (Aaj Tak), and 586(Headlines Today) on 61.5 with my Viewsat Platinum.
Can anybody help me out? |

make sure your antenna is setup to the correct port in the menu and have the signal/quality and save it before you exit and scan. |

Did you install a fresh satfile when you updated?
we have been seeing here the viewsat losing data during the update process...

Tester I never install factory bin before new bin install and my ultra works fine. Now when I do install factory first and then the new bin I loose all my channles. So, rather than loosing all my channles i just install new bin . It works for me. |

scabz please do not try to condirdict my post without reading it first!
no were in any of my post or guide do I say install a factory bin....i advise to install a fresh SATFILE and you channel list!
we have threads all over the place with users that did not do as my guide and are having trouble... |

The way I fixed mine was by throwing it in the trashcan. Viewsat blows nut. |

viewsats are great you just have to upload correctly and they work great! |

I am getting all the other channels available on 61.5..Just having problem in getting the three I mentioned (584,585 and 586)
Mad I learned alot from this site about ports and
settings and thanks for your input but the only issue I am having is with these 3 channels.
Do I have to scan a specific TP and how? |

Leo, did do a hard boot (from the back botton) after downloaded the new bin. or maybe need to scan the 61.5 again. |

I have tried everything
Installing factory bin
then loading the latest bin
Installing satinfo file again
Hard booting again and again befre scanning.
I scanned it like 100 times and got all the other channels but still no luck.
Like I said the issue is with only 3 channels.It's not like the receiver have some problem as I used to get these channels before with the same receiver I have now.Its just that I didnt use it for a long time because I was using Captive Works. |

I cant get 61.5 a house blocks anything east of 82 for me so I dont know they may be their as well |

Ok found them useing my buddy's dish
on 61.5
584---transponder 12384
585--transponder 12384
586--transponder 12384
all working 100% |

I had the same problem what i did was checked my lnb settings i had it on single then changed it to dp and scanned it again it picked up everything |
