i downloaded the bin ultrafix from dss testers and i put it in my reciver then it said no chaneels i even tried later to put in the latest file like right now. and i used usb cuz i don have the port from the back of my computer. may someone plese help and thank u . happy new year n holidays |

Do you have signal and quality?
Check yuor LNB settings, make sure it is at Standard or Universal
Also, turn the reciever off for 10 seconds (from the back) and back on |

Hello,
I made a guide to help users not have this happen to them. What has happened is during the update process your receiver lost data. You will need to adjust all antenna settings correctly, then blind scan each satellite you can receive..

uhmm yo no signal or quality and my eecho things are on echostar 7 and 3. and i don get waht the echo star things are to be obn like lnb power n stuff. uhh i downloaded a bin from dss testers called ultra fix n then wen i put the file in the reciver it said no chanels |

i tried that tutorial i put new sat file the new bin PFTAUSW-080104U-1.PGM and everything i dont understand i get signal 24 and no quality there another problem. I even did factory default |

factory defalt removes all channels and antenna settings.
what is your set up? what is connected to the receiver...lnb,switch..is the lnb a dish pro? |

it not the lbn or anything the problem is since i insall that new bin last time it screwed up everything.... i just DON'T get signal or qualiity anymore. |

are you sure you have a current working transponder for the satellite you are trying to receive?

Check your antenna settings. Make sure all is the way it shoudl be, Ports, LNB, ...
This happened to me before, a new bin changed my Antenna settings for some reason. |

be sure the antenna is pointed at the correct sat. an example your receiver is looking at 110 but trying to get a channel on echo 3 it will read autorolling and never get the channel..that is why everone keeps saying look at your antenna settings...
might want to disconect the other lnb while setting up each sat. then conect the switch after you get all the correct channels |

ye i noe my reciver wne i did echo 7 it was sayin 119.0w then wen i was doing echo 3 the it said 61.5 buh wen i did my echo 3 i diddnt get hindi chanels and it isnt goruped like in kids , hindi, movies, ppv |

you have both on disqc port 2 for one thing
what port is 119 connected to?
what port is 61.5 connected to?
what are your lnbs? dish pro? does it say DP? |
