Hello i am glad i found this forum and i'm hoping i can get some answers here My TV just recently went kaput. I think it reached 5000 hrs lamp life point, cause the picture just went blank and the red lamp light turned on. Please help, what could be the problem and how can i get this fixed? I purchased this TV online in 11/2005 with a 5 year warranty and the store is now out of business and that means no more warranty? I contacted Sony and they told me they don't have no record of my tv having extended warranty. Please help.
