Thread: DN-Getting no signal on some channels, some channels working |

When I do a satellite scan I am missing the majority of my channels, but the channels that do come up are actually working..like VH1, some locals, SPEED,all of these work, but other then that it wont even find the other transponders or channels...not sure if somethin g is wrong with my dish, or if everyone is gettin this |

Hi, and Happy New Year to All. I have the converted Pansat 2500to 2700, I have some cnhannels, My question is I only put on Echo3 and Echo 9, with this converted system can I scan other sats. I am looking for local channels, I have state but no local. Thanks LauraD in the ATL. PS I know there is no new bin. |

Laura, you need echo 10 and you will get all local channels also if you can give us your hardware set up then we can help you further |

ive been away for a couple weeks sorry, im not fully updated on whats going on...when my dish has gone down ive never had this "no signal" issue..i just get the scrambled or bad channell thats why i dont know whats going on |

Hi African, I do not have Echo 10, my system is showing Echo 4 Echo 1.2 Wcho 9T-13Ku, Echo 7, Echo 8 and the Echo3/9 that I have. What info is needed for hardware. I have a converted Pansat 2500 to 2700 with LBN 1250 TP 12225 V20.000 Please advis what else you need info on as far as hardware. Thanks LauraD |

Thanks I put Echo 8. Still no local channels only ones in surrounding cities. Thanks I will do a power scan. I only have one dish, and I have no idea about the switch. Friend put system in left me high and dry. If not for the help from you all I would be dead in the water. Left befor I converted 2500A to 2700 |

Laura, from what you are saying.you need a second lnb (if you don't have a dual lnb already)on your dish to pick up echo 10. if you need further help let us know |

What African says is true. Are you getting anything from Echo 8/10? If you are, then the lack of locals might be a different issue altogether. |

laura, you will need to go outside and look at the dish antenna and let us know what you have have. What does the dish look like does it read dish500? or dish pro?or just the letters DP? then we can help you |
