I recently purchased a Viewsat 7000 PVR. I copied over the video files from the receiver to my laptop, but cannot play the files. The files transfer over as unknown file types. There are no extensions. I have made copies and renamed the copies with .mpg and .mpeg extensions. They would play the sound, but no video. If anybody can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
