I went from a Samsung HLN to a Samsung HL-T4675S and notice I have scan lines (usually a dark one followed by a light one approx 4 inches high) when going through the Svideo or Component Connections. It doesn't do this when watching through the HDMI connection. I'm very disappointed, the past few months since buying this set I thought it was due the analog signal through my cable box but after connecting a DVD player(using both Svideo and Component Connections) I find it does it through the DVD player also eliminating my first conclusion that it was a signal problem from our cable company's SA box. In Svideo it's a black scan line and through the Component it has a greenish tint. I've tried ever adjustment in the menu to lessen this problem but nothing works.. I would think the Progressive scanning should eliminate this phenomenon. Any suggestions or ideas why this is or how to eliminate this problem?
