I recently had problems with my RF modulator. I had to get a new Comcast DVR box and I obtained a VCR/DVD recorder combo. When the Comcst gentlman came out he didn't hook the combo up and I don't know how. Can some please help me oh and by the way I don't want to use and RF modulator anymore. I tried to hook it up and it doesn't work.

If the TV only has coax in, you need the modulator for DVDs. If the TV has line inputs, use them, if not, connect the RCAs from the DVD to the modulator. The combo will output VHS through the coax, but not DVD.
