I have a Phillips DVD+-R 8820 burner. I use DVD Shrink 3.2 with Nero 7. I use HP DVD-R. I have tried burning at every speed, and nothing. Sometimes the DVDs will play in my Laptop, but not on Standalones some time it wont work on either. I alo have had MCafee Block a Buffer overload. I am not ure how to resolve this. any help would be great thanks.

Are you trying to reproduce protected DVDs?

If so, get a copy of the AnyDVD software. It will remove the protection and allow you to make back ups of your factory DVDs.
